A woman on TikTok has taken first meeting stories to a whole other level - after spotting a man she fancies on the train home from work.
Too nervous to ask him outright if he wanted to see her again, she decided to get creative and has since shared a genius trick to find out if he liked her back.
Taking to TikTok, Ellie Bratt revealed all. In the video, she described how a "hot guy" came and sat next to her on the circle line - and she quickly pondered how to get his attention.
Ellie explained that all she needed was her phone and her Instagram - and her quick thinking worked a treat.
She captioned her post: "Absolute genius if you ask me".

"Guys, I'm absolutely dying at what just happened to me on my train - on my way back home from work," she said.
"I'm pretty sure I've just secured a husband for myself and the way that I've done it is f*****g genius.
"So, I'm sitting on the train, a really hot guy gets on and sits next to me.
"In the UK, we don't talk to each other here - we can't - we just can't do that.
"So, I was like, 'How can I get his attention? How can I get to know if he likes me back?'
"What do I do? I get my Instagram up and I just put it onto my profile!"

Ellie described that she subtly pointed her phone screen in his direction, hoping that he would catch a glimpse of her page.
"Anyway, I can't look at him, so I can't see if he's seen it or anything - but he gets off at his stop - and then I get a little ping on my phone," she continues. "He's only gone and bloody followed me, hasn't he?!
"I cannot believe that this worked and I was like, 'Oh my God! How f*****g genius am I? Why have I never done that before?'"
"So, there you go! Guys, girls, if a hot guy comes and sits down next to you - just open up your Instagram.
"If he follows you, he fancies you!" She added.
In the video - which has surpassed 180,000 views to date - users fled to the comment section to praise the idea.
One user wrote: "Oh my goodness! I need to try that next time!"
"Rate this 100/10," a second user penned.
"I thought you meant local train not THE UNDERGROUND," a third commented. "Go on gal. Haha".
"Yes the bloody central line" Ellie responded aside a laughing emoji.
