Woman shares 'game-changing' trick to banish sweat patches - even in this heat

For many people, a heatwave presents the perfect opportunity to wear the light and breezy summer clothes you've longed to dig out all year.

However, stubborn sweat patches can leave you feeling a bit less glamorous than you otherwise would, no matter how pretty your favourite sundress may be.

Fortunately, there are ways to keep sweaty pits at bay, as one creative woman has aptly demonstrated - and you don't necessarily have to splash out on fancy solutions.

Mum Keeley Palmer, who has attracted 11.5k TikTok followers with her hilarious humour and relatable parenting content, recently shared a video showing her tip for banishing sweat patches.

In the clip, which has racked up 330.5k views so far, Keeley advised her followers to use good old-fashioned sanitary pads to soak up any perspiration, declaring, 'nobody will know!"

As shown in the vid, Keeley, who goes by the username @keeleylpalmer, simply pops the pads under each armpit, with the soft side placed against her skin and the sticky bit fastened to her clothing.

It goes without saying you should never put the sticky bit against your skin, a blunder which would no doubt make for a very painful impromptu armpit wax.

Keeley can be seen laughing as she tries out the hack, gasping "no way!" in apparent astonishment at the simple trick working so effectively.

Followers were equally amazed, praising Keeley for her "brilliant idea", which many can't believe they haven't thought of before.

One person hailed it as a "game-changer", while another confessed they'd been doing this exact thing for years, remarking that "great minds think alike."

Some came forward with various innovative suggestions as to where people could pop their pads when having a sweaty day, from under boobs to inside smelly shoes.

However, others advised caution, with one particularly alarmed commenter fretting: "But what if you're drunk and meet a lad and forget?"

Of course, Keeley's advice couldn't come at a better time, with the current scorcher of a heatwave resulting in countless sweaty pits up and down the UK.
