Woman shares ex-boyfriend's 'BS apology text' after he 'technically cheated'

A woman left her fans in stitches after performing a dramatic reading of a man's apology text where he admitted 'technically' cheating on her - before begging for sympathy.

TikTok star Jax, @jaxwritessongs, read the note while her friend, Lindsey Stirling plays the violin in the background - adding a certain atmosphere to the video.

With a voice cracking with emotion, Jax embarks on the impersonation and reads the first line of the message - 'I know you're probably never going to forgive me, but I wanted a chance to explain', as the Daily Star reports.

The video proved popular with Jax's fans on Tiktok and now has had over 4.7 million views, alongside over 710,000 likes and nearly 20,000 comments.

"I've been failing most of my classes and you know I just got fired.

"So I would really appreciate it if you showed me some sort of sympathy and stopped making me feel like a villain

"Plus you've been really busy at work and I've been feeling really alone.

"I was just missing you and it was a one-time mistake. I love you SO much more than Emily.

"What am I supposed to tell my family? I'm sorry ok?! Also, did you change the Netflix password?"

In the comments, Jax asks her fans: "Guys comment your exes' BS texts so we can add sad violins to it!"

"That whole apology was to get the Netflix password," said a second user.

Someone else commented: "DID YOU CHANGE THE NETFLIX PASSWORD? I'M DEAD."

Another viewer questioned: "How does one differ from 'technically' and 'actually' hooking up with someone?"

Jax finished third on the fourteenth season of American Idol and was signed with Atlantic Records.
