A woman has shared how to stop avocados from turning brown after you cut them in half - and she claims it's the 'best life hack ever'.
Lovers of the healthy fruit will know how annoying it is when they quickly start to spoil and go off the next day.
While there already a number of hacks out there that promise to keep avocados fresh, this method is by far the most simple.
The woman took to Tik Tok to share her life hack and explained that all you need to keep your avocados from turning brown overnight is a container and some water.
She filled up the container with a little water, before placing the flesh face down into the pot.
Once you've done that, pop on your lid and place it in the fridge.
In another video, she explained that she pats the avacado dry when she's ready to eat it so it doesn't go soggy.
She said: "It’s been 24 hours and I just took it out of the fridge. It’s perfectly green but it is a little water logged. I just pat it dry and it gets all that off."
After peeling the skin off, people were shocked to see the fruit still completely green wihtout any brown to be seen.
The original video has since racked up more than 82,000 likes and thousands of comments from foodies praising her simple hack as "genius" and a "total game-changer."
