Whites clothes can look fabulous when they are nice and bright, but it can be tricky to keep them looking fresh and clean. Overwashing and sweat can cause the white to not look so bright, ending up looking rather dull and grey, with yellowing patches.
Lots of people will especially want to keep their white underwear looking good as new, but making this happen isn’t always as easy as they’d hoped. At least until now as cleaning fans have been sharing their favourite tips on social media - including a washing tick that “works miracles” on white bras.
Taking to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips group on Facebook, a user shared their £1 laundry hack, reports to Mirror Online. One woman asked for advice and had a number of replies encouraging her to try Dr. Beckmann's Glowhite.
A fellow cleaning fan posted: "Using glow whites in wash." Another added: "I always use glow white."
While a fourth commented: "Glow white does miracles. Soak them in warm water and add glow white. I do it when I have more than one to wash." The stain remover is currently being sold for as little as £1 on Amazon. This comes after Mrs Hinch fans shared a different hack to make their towels feel good as new - and it costs under £2 to try for yourself.
All you need is to add a splash of white vinegar to your wash loads when cleaning your towels. A different user explained: "Cap full of white vinegar, dry on the line and then put in the tumble dryer for 10 minutes." A second advised: "My mum swears by white vinegar and she has the softest, fluffiest towels."
