Woman shares 'magic ingredient' that turns towels 'fresh and fluffy' for £1.90

The last thing you want to do after a bath or shower is dry yourself with a grubby towel that's covered in tough stains.

Even though the towel has been washed and is technically clean, it won't feel as clean if there's a big makeup smudge. Thankfully, a cleaning ace has shared a simple item that you can add to your wash which will leave your towels looking spotless.

Her trick also leaves towels "fresh and fluffy" and will only put you back around £1.90 at the supermarkets, writes The Mirror.

Minie Violaris, who posts under @theironingqueen, shared her hack on TikTok which has been viewed nearly 400 times.

She says: "Mascara, foundation stains, eye shadow, blusher, fake tan, you name it, it's on there.

"So I'm going to show you how to get your white towels bright, fresh and fluffy again."

Her "magic ingredient" is Ecover Laundry Bleach, which can be purchased for just £1.90 from Sainsbury's. She uses the bleach alongside some bio laundry liquid.

Minie sets her washing machine to a cotton wash cycle, adjusting the temperature to 30C. She adds some bio laundry liquid to the washing machine drawer.

Then the Ecover Laundry Bleach goes into the drawer too, and after the wash the cleaning ace shows off the "beautiful" and "perfect" towels which are no longer stained.

People in the comments were quick to praise Minie for sharing the hack, with one person saying: "That's amazing!!! They are so clean!! Thank you for the tip."

Another said: "Love that you use Ecover products. Important for the environment and our skin."

A third added their own advice, writing: "I use oxi stain remover and oxi in wash with a pre soak."
