People reckon a make-up artist has 'changed lives' after sharing a hack to prevent foundation and fake tan from transferring from your skin to your clothes.
The genius idea was shared online by pro Rachel Nugent, who demonstrated how well it works using a white shirt, and after seeing the trick in action, you'll struggle to find any beauty guru who is not impressed by the results.
The tip works by preventing products from sticking to your clothes, meaning foundation lovers can say goodbye to those pesky orange marks you often find inside collars. In more good news, the solution couldn't be any easier.
Simply apply hairspray inside the collar before dressing, as the make-up artist explained in an online demonstration.
Cans of hairspray can be purchased for as little as £1.50 from shops such as Boots.
Rachel, who posts on TikTok and Instagram as @rachynugent, revealed that she saw Olivia Attwood recommend the tip on Instagram.
She then recorded herself spraying inside her top, before checking her collar throughout the day. "This is it at 7 o'clock. Still white. This is it at 11 o'clock. Still white," the TikToker said.
In response, amazed viewers were quick to thank Rachel for sharing her video, which garnered over 150,000 views.
"This cannot be possible," read one reply. "This is the information I have needed for a long time!"
A second said: "Wish I'd had this info for my daughter's school blouses. trying next time I wear a white shirt."
A third revealed: "I think you’ve changed my life forever." Another commenter agreed: "Omg life changed."
Meanwhile, someone else wondered: "Omg need this!!!! Would this work on a white blazer too?"
Unfortunately, Rachel has yet to try the trick, but it sounds like the commenter could be on to something. "Omg never thought !! I have a white blazer too, might try!" she wrote.
Replying to a different user who had a similar idea, the beauty guru added: "Things we need to try!!!"
