Woman sexually assaulted in Queen's Park as forensic officers comb scene

Emergency services have launched an investigation following reports of a sexual assault in a Glasgow park.

The incident happened at around 1am yesterday (Saturday, March 26) when police were called to reports that a 23-year-old woman had been attacked in Queen's Park.

Forensic officers have been pictured combing the scene last night, the Daily Record reports.

Police in white boiler suits carried out enquiries at a cordoned off area of the park, with enquiries into the incident ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1am on Saturday, March 26, officers received a report of the sexual assault of a 23-year-old woman in Queen’s Park, Glasgow.
