A woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault in an early-morning attack at the weekend.
Uniformed officers and detectives are carrying out “extensive enquiries” into the incident, which took place near Perth High Street, in an alleyway between Ramsden’s and Superdrug.

The 25-year-old victim was attacked at around 3am on Sunday, November 8.
The man responsible spoke with a foreign accent, is about 5’ 8” tall and has a tanned complexion.

Officers are currently carrying out house to house and CCTV enquiries in the area.
Detective Inspector Marc Lorente of Police Scotland’s Divisional Rape Investigation Unit said: “We have a number of officers dedicated to this enquiry and I would urge anyone who might be able to identify the man responsible or anyone who saw someone matching that description in the area, to get in touch with Police Scotland on 101 or speak to any police officer.
