Woman sexually assaulted at Glasgow park as forensic officers comb scene

Police have launched a probe following the report of a sexual assault at a Scots park.

Officers were called to reports that a 23-year-old woman had been attacked in Queen's Park in Glasgow at around 1am on Saturday March 26.

Forensic officers have been pictured combing the scene this evening following the report.

Cops in white boiler suits are carrying out enquiries at a cordoned off area of the park.

Police say their enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1am on Saturday, March 26, officers received a report of the sexual assault of a 23-year-old woman in Queen’s Park, Glasgow.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
