Woman seriously injured in hospital after falling from flat in Glasgow

A woman has been left seriously injured after falling from a flat in Glasgow.

Police and paramedics raced to Saracen Street in the Possilpark area in the north of the city at around 7.40am this morning, May 20.

The 24-year-old woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where she is being treated for serious injuries.

Officers from Police Scotland remain at the scene as they continue their probe into the incident.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were made aware of a 24-year-old woman who had fallen from a flat in Saracen Street, Glasgow, around 7.40am on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

"The woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
