Woman seriously injured after falling from tenement flat window in Possilpark

A woman has been left seriously injured after falling from a flat window in Possilpark.

The 24-year-old plunged from the tenement building in Saracen Street at around 7:40am this morning.

She is currently being treated at the Royal Infirmary.

Police are now investigating the incident.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We were made aware of a 24-year-old woman who had fallen from a flat in Saracen Street, Glasgow, around 7.40am on Wednesday, 20 May, 2020.

"The woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
