Woman seriously injured after man, 84, crashes into pedestrians on Swansea footpath

A woman has been seriously injured after a pensioner crashed onto a footpath in south Wales.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in the Mumbles area of Swansea on Saturday afternoon.

The car collided with two pedestrians at Bracelet Bay car park at around 2.30pm, South Wales Police said.

The woman, aged 35, has been admitted to hospital with serious injuries.

Police confirmed her injuries are not life-changing or life-threatening.

Her six-year-old daughter, was also hurt in the incident, but her injuries are not believed to be serious.

The 84-year-old driver of the vehicle was unharmed, the force added.
