A woman has been seriously injured after police were called to a 'disturbance' in Glasgow.
Officers raced to reports of a 'disturbance' that kicked off on Cumberland Street in the southside of the city at around 3.45pm on Saturday March 12.
One woman, aged 44, was found at the scene with serious injuries.
She was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
A 33-year-old man had suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
The current medical condition of both parties was not disclosed by police, who confirmed the incident to the Daily Record on Sunday morning.
No further details of the circumstances surrounding the incident were revealed.
Police Scotland said enquiries are ongoing.
A spokeswoman told the Record: "At around 3.45pm on Saturday, March 12 officers were called to disturbance on Cumberland Street, Glasgow.
"A 44-year-old woman was found to have been seriously injured and was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
"A 33-year-old man was found to have minor injuries, he did not require hospitalisation.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the incident."
