A woman was left feeling disturbed after she was contacted by a complete stranger - who had taken her number from her dog's collar in the park.
The owner had taken her pet for some exercise and didn't think much of a man who had stopped to play with her dog, before later realising he may have had an ulterior motive.
The stranger made a note of the contact details on her dog's collar - placed there in the event of an emergency -and later reached out in the aim of seeing the woman again.
When she ignored his messages, he reacted angrily and asked: "Why do you even have your number on her collar if you don't want people to text you?"

The woman shared a screenshot of the texts she was sent on Reddit, asking 'Is this a thing?', where the man was branded a "next level creep" by other users.
The first message reads: "Hey, I got your phone number from your dog's collar. Thanks for letting me pet her, we should hang out :) ."
A few hours later he sent two more messaging, saying: "Hello? "Why do you even have your number on her collar if you don't want people to text you? What the f***? Such a tease."
People were left utterly stunned by the man's confusion over why the owner's number was on the dog's collar, as one wrote: "The insinuation that she's like seeking attention by having the number on the dog's collar is hilarious to me."
And a second said: "Guy is very confused on what the number is for."
Others were concerned by the encounter, with one person replying to say: "Oh, I don’t like this", and someone else wrote: "It's a creep is what it is."
Another added: "I made this joke once with my girlfriend, whose phone number is also on her dogs' collars. I can't believe that there are actually people with this mindset!"
