A woman was left disappointed when her date called an Uber and sent her home during a night out because he did not like her outfit.
Nikki Jabs spent 40 minutes getting ready to attend a work dinner with a man she had been seeing for a few weeks.
For the occasion, she decided to wear a black long-sleeved crop top and pink trousers.
Talking about her experience on TikTok, Nikki said: "I spent 40 minutes on my makeup to meet his friends and co-workers at a grand opening for the retail company he works for."
However, she said the man did not like her outfit and sent her home in an Uber.

Nikki, who was upset at first, explained: "He was too embarrassed to be seen with me in this outfit, so he sent me home in an Uber and went to the opening without me.
"I’m just so sad because I spent so much time trying to look pretty and he sent me home in an Uber.
"Who does that? He sent me home with a stranger on a Friday night.
"He wasn’t comfortable with me around his coworkers, but was comfortable sending me home with a stranger in an Uber."

On TikTok, she said it was not the first time that her date had made inappropriate comments about her outfit, as he previously asked her not to wear make-up or heels, even though she likes to dress up when going out.
When he called an Uber for her to go back home, Nikki was upset, but later decided it would be better for her to move on and break up with the man as she did not feel appreciated by him.
She said she had moved in with him three weeks before the incident as she wanted to get to know him better but, when he sent her home, she decided to pack her things and leave.
Talking about her decision, Nikki - who now lives in her van with her cat - said: "I’m glad I got out after only three weeks and not three years."
Several TikTok users told Nikki she made the best choice as the man's behaviour was not appropriate.
A person wrote: "Remember: This is him in the beginning. This is him on his best behaviour. Run."
Nikki replied: "Yup! I ran."
Another commented: "There’s going to be an apology and begging. Please don’t listen to him it's only going to get worse. You're beautiful and deserve so much more!"
Nikki said: "It already started tonight. I won't give in."
One more TikTok user added: "His behaviour is abusive."
Another told Nikki: "Don't let anyone EVER treat you like this."
