A woman is scared to park on her own road after her car was smashed by vandals for the second time in just over a month.
Alana Hargeaves, 21, from Widnes, had parked her car, a red Ford, in a space on Southway before it was attacked by a group of yobs at around 7pm yesterday (January 3).
CCTV footage from last night shows three men approaching the vehicle before one man throws what appears to be a brick at the front windscreen while another of the men smashes the rear windscreen with a pole.

The yobs are then shown fleeing the scene, leaving the car with damage to the front windscreen after the brick bounced off and the rear windscreen put through entirely.

Alana said: “I was in the living room and heard a massive bang. Obviously I ran outside and someone came up to me and said ‘it was three lads, they’re all balaclava’d up.'
“It was a massive bang - the dog jumped up on one, I jumped up and so did my boyfriend and then the car alarm went off.
“I’ve now got CCTV from next door because you can see it on his cameras.
“We’ve got footage of them in their balaclavas running. At the same time, someone tries to brick the front window and someone has a metal pole and smashes through the back.”

Alana’s car windscreen had previously been smashed on November 26, after which she contacted police.
She said: “I called the police the first time and they came out a few days later and said ‘have you got any CCTV?'
“We’ve got a Ring doorbell at our house but it didn’t pick it up the first time.
“The police gave me a booklet with the case number and said ‘if it happens again, let us know’.”
After this yesterday's incident, Alana fears parking on her road, saying: “It’s the second time it’s happened in two months."
“Now, obviously, I’m scared to put my car in the road, I’m parking it a while away just in case it happens again because it’s money coming out of my pocket.”
