A heartbreaking video of a woman sharing her final words with her dying mother on the phone has laid bare the devastating personal impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Francesca Onorato shared the poignant footage, in which her mum Linda speaks to her 81-year-old grandmother shortly before she died from Covid-19, on TikTok.
The teen, who is from Natick in Massachusetts, US, says her grandmother Roberta was diagnosed with the flu-like virus in April while she was living in a nursing home.
Unable to be by her mother's bedside, the emotional clip shows Linda, 53, telling her she will "talk to her tomorrow" to try to help her feel less frightened about dying.

She can be heard saying: "I love you mom so much, OK?"
"You're the best mommy in the whole world, always the best mama. I love you, OK honey and Lucy says hi too, alright.
"Love you mom, you have a good night OK. Alright mom, talk to you tomorrow. Love you, goodnight."
Francesca's sister Ava can be seen sitting by her mother and holding back tears in the video, which has now amassed over 15 million views.
Speaking to Insider, Francesca says that finding out about her grandmother's illness had left her "devastated".
She says that although Roberta had been unable to speak to her family because she was taking morphine to ease her pain, she was grateful for the chance to say goodbye.

"Finding out she was positive [for COVID-19] really hurt me because I realized with her lung problems, she most likely would not survive, so I was devastated," she said.
"My grandma was an awesome person, she accepted me through thick and thin.
"She was always so kind and never hurt her family. She was the most genuine person I knew and would always be completely honest with you."
In the caption of her post, Francesca urged others to make sure to stay in touch with their loved ones.
"Please call your loved ones and say you love them. I'm just thankful the last thing I said to my grandma was I love you. Rest in peace," she said.
The poignant video has led to the family receiving many condolences from social media users.
Some have begged people to stay at home to avoid spreading the highly contagious virus, with one saying they hoped the video would encourage others to take coronavirus more seriously.
"I honestly can't even watch the video that'll make me SO sad, but praying for your family and I hope people start to take this more seriously," they wrote.
Another commented: "God please just stay at home Please. I'm crying. The world is in so much pain. People are dying."
