But if you're not prepared to spend as much as £600, on a household cleaning device, then one woman has found a much cheaper alternative.
Taking to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the shopper explained that she had managed to pick up a Goblin Upright vacuum cleaner reduced in Asda to £36.
The shopper also urged other members of the group to pick a Goblin up for themselves, promising them that they wouldn't be disappointed by it, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The post has gained more than 300 comments with many supporting her recommendation.
Dyson's upright vacuum cleaners can cost anything from £199 to £299, with alternative, specialised models costing up to £599, meaning the discounted Goblin model could secure huge savings for shoppers.
At full price, the Goblin upright vacuum costs £59.96 meaning a saving of £139.04 could be made when compared to Dyson's cheapest upright vacuum cleaner.
