Woman's 'vile' fry up breakfast sparks outrage as people say it's 'wrong on all levels'

A woman has sparked outrage over her controversial addition to a traditional fry up breakfast.

The home cook shared a photo of her plate on Rate My Plate group on Facebook, where people upload pictures of weird and wonderful dishes to be judged by fellow foodies.

On the plate were three sausages, a fried egg, two plum tomatoes, three rashers of bacon, a generous serving of beans and a slice of buttered toast.

But instead ketchup or brown sauce, the woman had drowned the fry up in gravy.

The post was simply captioned: "Full English with Gravy by Stacie E."

Since being shared with the group, the dish has caused an uproar amongst users who thought the addition was "vile".

One person said: "Gravy? Gravy on a breakfast? That looks absolutely vile and it's wrong on every single level. 0/10."

Another wrote: "Who in their right mind puts gravy on a breakfast?

"Lockdown has certainly taken its toll on you, Stacie, seek help, dear."

"A full English with gravy...I expect to see a full Sunday roast with custard next...," said a third.

A couple of people also took issue with her toast as they said it was underdone and others said she was missing a few ingredients like mushrooms and black pudding.

But not everyone was against the combination as one person revealed: "Gravy is excellent on a breakfast.

"Only found this out a couple of months ago. The woman in the cafe wasn’t overly impressed though."

And another person asked: "Am I the only one who thinks that looks bangin?"
