Whenever eyebrow trends change, it can be really frustrating - especially when you don't possess the brows that are currently 'in style'. For example, bushy-browed babes will have rejoiced when Cara Delevingne became popular - especially after years and years of desperately overplucking in the 90s.
There are so many different types of eyebrows to explore now, but one beauty guru has taken to TikTok to claim that a certain eyebrow trend has 'completely transformed' her face - and it doesn't cost a thing.
Jasmine, who posts on TikTok as @jasminereneeaiello, uploaded a video which over the top said: "Your sign to get rid of the tails of your eyebrows."
In a later video, she clarified that she does not mean people shave the tails off their eyebrows, explaining that she still has 'entire eyebrows to show for it'.
She is, instead, encouraging her followers to follow a straight line upwards with their eyebrows when plucking, as it gives a lifting effect to the face.
The video alternates between a photo of Jasmine with 'normal' eyebrows, and straight-line eyebrows, and in the photo where her brows are straight, her face looks more lifted, as the eye is tricked to follow the straight line upwards.
Jasmine explained: "The other photo is 4 years ago so I've slowly changed the shape by letting hair grow underneath and plucking the ends."
People in the comments had valid questions such as: "This is trending rn but the question is are the straight brows going to be forgotten soon?" as many people have fallen foul of eyebrow trends before such as bleaching, and over-plucking.
One woman said: "It really depends on what suits your face. These eyebrows never worked for my eye and face shape, I went back to the tails and it's so much better."
Another praised the look though, writing: "Literally game changer, lifted my face and made my eyes look open!"
"Did that and I'm so happy", someone else gushed.
