Hands up those of you who've never committed an awkward gaffe?
Ever waved back at someone, only to see they were waving at the person behind you - or accidentally tucked your skirt into your knickers, to give just a couple of examples?
If even the Royal family aren't immune to toe-curling and cringe scenarios , then what hope do the rest of us have?
So spare a thought for Abby, a contestant on Australia's version of the The Bachelor, whose first encounter with Matt (said bachelor) probably didn't go quite as she'd planned.
Here's what happened.
After introducing themselves to one another, Abby asks Matt what he does, to which he replies "I'm an astrophysicist."
No one would say that this isn't a very impressive job - and not one you hear every day, which might go some way to explain what happened next (how many astrophysicists have you met? Exactly).
Abby replies with, "Okay, I'm a Gemini..."
The unfortunate moment was captured and shared on Twitter , much to the delight of, quite literally, thousands of people who thought it was hilarious.
"You can pinpoint the moment where his soul exits his body," one wrote.
But in actual fact, Matt's gallant response of "I'm a Leo" went down really well, with viewers saying it was the "gentlemanly" thing to do.
So are Leos and Geminis compatible? Only time will tell.
