A woman who received a vile message from an online troll has come up with the perfect response - forwarding the message to his mother.
San Francisco-based gaming journalist Kallie Plagge, who writes video game reviews for a living, received a private message on Facebook Messenger, in response to one of her articles.
"Hi u stupid f***** SJW (social justice warrior ) c***. Can u ever learn to shut ur f***** c*** mouth b****," the message read.
But rather then let it upset her, Kallie used the social network to look up the troll's profile, find his mother's account, and forward her the message.
"Hello! You don't know who I am, but your son does," she wrote to the mother.
"I thought you might want to know the kinds of messages he sends to women he doesn't agree with. He sent me this because I wrote a review of a video game."
Amazingly, the mother replied, with a shocking revelation about her son's age.
"I am so sorry. He is 37 years old and I am so going after him," she wrote.
"He differently (sic) has problems. I will straighten him out!!!"
Kallie shared the exchange on her Twitter account, garnering thousands of retweets and tens of thousands of likes.
"I don't wanna hear that messages like these are just from young immature kids, that's a full grown idiot," one Twitter user commented on her post.
"It makes me sad that a teenager would do this, but a 37 year old 'adult' is pathetic and disturbing," wrote another.
