Police have issued a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to following the purse theft in Warrington town centre.

Cheshire Police is urging anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV image to contact them.

PC Graham Davies said: “To take this woman’s pension money is abominable and has left the victim extremely upset.

“We are determined to find those responsible and are following a number of lines of enquiry. We believe the men may have links to the Coventry area and would urge anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV image to contact us.”

Anyone with information should contact police via the www.cheshire.police.uk quoting IML 1194514.

Alternatively information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
