Woman's pasta creation brutally ripped apart as others compare it to 'diarrhoea'

If you post a picture of a pasta dish online, you better be willing to deal with the consequences because people will mobilise to defend the sacred food.

Previously, one amateur cook was told she should be 'banned from Italy' after sharing a photo of her "classic" dish of pasta and gravy - with another saying the meal made their eyes bleed.

So one woman must have been feeling pretty brave when she decided to introduce the world to her very own unique recipe on the Rate My Plate Facebook page.

The group boasts more than 2.5 million members, all ready to give their opinion on the plates of food uploaded for inspection - and they don't hold back.

The dish really divided opinion (Facebook)

A recent submission has racked up almost 9,000 comments, showing an interesting-looking bowl of pasta which was simply titled: "Pasta with Melted Chocolate by Sophie A."

And as expected, some of the reactions were absolutely brutal.

One commented to say: "Looks like my son had diarrohea and it landed all over your pasta! Enjoy."

A second wrote: "That is just so wrong. If you want an improvement for it pick it up, walk over to the bin and just throw it in there. Then go back into your cupboard and create a decent pasta dish."

Another replied: "I ate a candle when I was a kid, and that 100% was more appetising - do you need me to call someone for you? Family...friend...therapist?"

A fourth added: "Chocolate pasta - looks the same coming out as it does going in. May as well miss out the middleman and just throw it down the toilet."

But some were more open to the idea, and even sounded willing to try it out for themselves.

One replied: "Shown my daughter and she thinks that's a dream meal. Love pasta n nutella. Why not put them together?"

Another said: "When you've got a craving for carbs & chocolate both at the same time.. improv!"
