A woman in her 60s was left shaken after she was threatened at knifepoint at a South Bristol beauty spot.
The attempted robbery happened near the duck pond at Manor Woods nature reserve, according to Avon and Somerset Police.
A public appeal has been launched today (Tuesday, January 4) following the woman's ordeal on the morning of Wednesday, December 15.

Police say the victim was approached by a male on the main path at around 11.30am that day, who "threatened her with a knife and demanded money".
He was estimated to be in his mid or late teens, and was wearing a blue face mask.
A police spokesperson said: "The victim was not physically harmed but left distressed by the incident.
"The offender is described as white, with short brown hair, aged in his mid-late teens, of a slight build, wearing a blue face mask.
"The knife he was carrying is described as being around 10 inches long with a marbled handle."
Manor Woods Valley is a woodland area popular with dog walkers, running alongside the Malago stream.
It is accessed just off Hartcliffe Way at one end and St Peter's Rise in Headley Park at the other.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who has any information that could insist with the investigation.
