Woman's neighbour calls police on her after she sends glitter-filled card as revenge

A woman's nightmare neighbour called the police on her after she sent a glitter bomb Christmas card as revenge for her antics. The mum had recently moved with her husband and newborn baby to a "a nice little neighbourhood", but soon started having trouble with one of her neighbours.

In one incident, her partner had taken their tiny Corgi puppy - described as "literally the least terrifying animal on earth" - for a walk in the evening. When the dog ran up to the neighbour, she apparently "shrieked" and rushed back into her house. Her husband knocked on her door later to apologise, but she screamed in his face and "cussed him out", the Mirror reports.

And that wasn't the end of the woman's overreaction. A few days later, a humane officer arrived at the couples house and told them they would face a fine if the dog ever "charged" at the neighbour again, who had claimed she had been left "terrified for her safety."

The neighbour has previously called the police "multiple times" on another one of their neighbours for mowing too close to their lawn and - in a particularly shocking incident - went as far as to kidnap their cat. Eventually, the fed-up mum reached her limit and decided to seek revenge.

Taking to Reddit, where she goes by the username u/Sickening_toe, the vengeful woman recalled: "I found an online website that anonymously sends people glitter bomb Holiday/Christmas cards so when you open it, it shoots glitter EVERYWHERE. Like a month goes by and I was wondering if this website just took my money or if she just wasn’t going to say anything about it.

"I s*** you not a cop comes to my door, asks to come inside and then busts out laughing explaining he’s here over a glitter Christmas card. He tells me I made his day and that was the funniest call he’s ever ran and leaves. Totally legal and great petty revenge."

She went on to clarify that she is now on surprisingly good terms with the neighbour, who is apparently "just a bit socially anxious" beneath her Karen exterior. They apparently smoothed things over after she brought her over a cat she couldn't keep as a peace offering.

They have since become friends and even joke about the incident. (Reddit/Sickening_toe)

Although some didn't believe they could have become friends after all the drama that had gone down, the mum shared a screenshot of a text exchange where the neighbour laughingly admitted she still had the card.
