Woman's message after boy approaches her in empty Lidl car park

A woman has shared a message after a boy approached her in an empty car park.

The woman posted on Facebook about the encounter at Lidl car park in Maghull on New Year's Day.

She said she had stopped at the car park to charge her car when two boys were passing on their skateboards.

One of the two boys then came over and "very politely" asked if she was OK because the car park was empty and she was on her own.

She described him as "thoughtful" and "kind" as she took to Facebook to share the kind act.

She posted in a local community group: "I was charging my car at Lidl this afternoon. As the shop was closed, the car park was deserted, apart from two young boys on skateboards.

"One of them came over and very politely asked if I was OK. He said there was nobody around, and I was there on my own. I reassured and thanked him for his concern, and explained that I was just charging the car.

"What an incredibly thoughtful, kind young man! Just thought I would share, as this considerate gesture really made my day!"

The boy's mum commented on the post: "I really am [proud], they’re such lovely souls the pair of them x."

One person said: "Well done does not take much to be kind and considerate."

While another person said: "Thanks for posting. Most kids are boss. Happy New Year."
