Woman's list of requirements to watch Avengers: Endgame is our dream film situation

If you’ve ever contemplated screaming into a pillow while a friend talks or loudly slurps a drink during a film, listen up.

Ahead of the release of Avengers: Endgame, one Twitter user's post has gone viral after she shared a very specific set of rules for their friends to follow if they watch the Marvel film together.

Last week, a social media user, who goes by the handle @museandblues, posted a list of eight rules she instructs her friends to abide by in order to watch the film with her.

“Rules if you’re watching Avengers: Endgame with me,” the user captioned the post which listed her demands, which we whole-heartedly support.

The list of rules varied from friends being advised to sit “at least 15 minutes before the movie starts”, to crying, laughing and gasping “at appropriate times”.

“Don’t ask me anything because you should’ve watched recaps like smart person,” another rule reads.

The Twitter user also warns friends to “take it easy” with their drinks because “there will be no bathroom breaks”.

“At the end of the movie, we will sit and wait until the credits have finished,” the film fans points out.

“After we leave the theatre, we will walk to our cars and ponder the events that unfolded in silence,” she adds before stating that her group are instructed to discuss their thoughts and feelings about the film the following day.

The tweet has been retweeted over 460 times and has garnered almost 1,000 “likes”, with followers expressing their surprise at her rigid set of rules.

“I know who I’m not watching with,” one user commented on the post.

Another added: “Movies are supposed to be fun.”

Meanwhile, others have agreed with the list of demands.

“Totally agree with all that it should be a contract you sign before you go in [sic],” one user commented.

Earlier this week, Avengers: Endgame actor Karen Gillanaccidentally let slip a detail regarding her character, Nebula in the film.

“It’s maybe safe to say she suffers from some daddy issues because her dad is Thanos, so who wouldn’t?” Gillan said at a press conference in California.

She added: “I’m excited for her to face the source of this abuse. She’s talked about how she wants to inflict revenge, so we all know about that. I’d like to see her try to face that.”

Avengers: Endgame will be released in the UK on 25 April.
