A woman has been ridiculed online for her 'idiotic' compass inking - after the tattoo artist clearly lost all sense of direction.
A picture of the unfortunate tattoo has been shared online - with the blunder leaving people in hysterics.
In the snap, posted to cult Twitter account @NoContextBrits, the woman is standing in a group wearing a white summer dress that exposes her back, the Mirror reports.
The large tattoo sit between her shoulder blades, with eagle-eyed social media users quickly spotting the cringe mistake.
Starting off with the 'N' and 'S' correctly placed, the tattoo artist has got then got a bit lost - inking the letter ‘W’ instead of ‘E’ at the east point and vice versa.
Maybe he should have used the old Naught Elephant Squeezes Water trick!
There were predictably many cutting remarks and some are desperate to track the anonymous woman.
One person commented: “If you look right through her from the front, it works."
Another said: “When two idiots get hold of tattoo needle.”
Someone else giggled: “It was meant for people looking from the front.”
Meanwhile, a fourth person chuckled: “When she looks in the mirror it’s right…what’s the problem.”
