Woman's KFC chips with 'extra, extra, extra' salt sparks outrage

With coronavirus lockdown measures easing, fast-food restaurants are slowly reopening, and unsurprisingly, fans are rushing to order the goods.

Among them was Brook Micallef who decided to treat herself to KFC from the Penrith restaurant in Western Sydney.

Now, when it comes to our food, everyone has different preferences for how we want it to taste.

Some people like their food spicy, opting to add chilli to every meal, whilst others prefer to add just a little salt and pepper.

But when Brook uploaded a picture of her KFC order to Facebook it got a lot of attention to say the least.

Her chips with 'extra, extra, extra' salt completely divided opinions everywhere.

Whilst Brook praised the food-chains generous seasoning, foodies couldn't decide whether it was "vile" or "glorious."

She wrote: "'Now when I say extra extra extra salt this wtf I mean!!!!!! I wanna choke on the salt, I want it to look like it's snowing!!!! S/O KFC Penrith."

Since sharing the post it has received nearly 3,000 likes and 5,800 shares.

Whilst a number of people commented how they like their chips, a few were utterly outraged by what they saw and were quick to say so.

One person said: "That is exactly the right amount of salt."

But another added: "ewwww might as well eat the salt by itself" with which Brooke replied that she would if she was given it.

According to News.com.au a third person admitted: "This happened to me last week; my kids wouldn't eat it."

And: "That’s way too much, even for me" said a fourth.

But another person who shared the post joked: "The perfect chips don’t exi…"
