A woman has revealed how her dirty diary about romps with her ex-boyfriends inspired the new Netflix show Sex/Life.
The popular TV series, which landed on the steaming service last month, is based on BB Easton's book 44 Chapters About 4 Men.
BB's book synopsis reads: "One woman's secret journal completely changes her marriage in this hilarious and biting memoir - the inspiration for the Netflix Original Series."
The mother-of-two has now revealed how her husband stumbled across her raunchy musings in her computer.
Speaking about her filthy diary, BB said: "I included every graphic detail because why not? It was just a little diary. It was fun and real. I honestly did not think it would ever see the light of day.

"I had been married for eight years. I had two very small kids. I had a super-stressful job at the time. My husband had a career as well, and our relationship was just completely put on the backburner," she added to The Sun.
“My husband is not an adventurous guy. He’s an accountant. He’s very vanilla, very straight-laced."
As BB began reminiscing about her wild past, she wrote about her sexploits with three ex-boyfriends — well-endowed skinhead Knight, ex-con Harley and struggling musician Hans*.

Of course, she never intended for her husband to stumble across her diary entries - but he did.
"There was one night where I came downstairs from putting the baby to bed. And I swear I heard the sound of a laptop slamming shut in the living room," she recalled.
“He’s sitting there. So that was the first time that I was like, ‘What did he see? Oh my god, I’m he’s gonna serve me with papers’."

But instead her husband decided to up his game and made more of an effort with BB.
When she started writing down her fantasies and what he exes had done with her in the bedroom, her husband Ken took note and improved his performance.
"We really didn’t talk about it because I didn’t want to mess anything up," she revealed.

"I would just write these things and then kind of leave my laptop in the living room or wherever and just watch."
BB decided to publish her diary, and the rest is pretty much history.
Sex/Life is now one of the most watched series on Netflix, and stars Sarah Shahi as fed up wife and mum Billie Connelly.
Billie is married to Cooper and the couple share two young children, but Billie finds herself thinking back to her past sex life and one ex in particular - Brad Simon.
BB admitted that her husband is very happy with the casting of Cooper, who is played by Mike Vogel.
"When I told him the casting he was the most excited I’ve ever seen him. So Ken is happy because Netflix made him look very good," she added to the publication.
Sex/Life is available to watch on Netflix now.
