Woman's horror as Tinder date's 'dead girlfriend' walks into restaurant

A man's web of lies swiftly unravelled when the 'dead girlfriend' he was telling a Tinder date about walked into the restaurant where they were dining.

He had even shown Hannah, who he met on the dating app, pictures of his ex and said she had died from cancer - when suddenly a woman who looked 'eerily' like the pictures walked in.

Hannah, 20, had been messaging him for a few weeks, Birmingham Live reports.

They had their first proper date at a restaurant, where the man opened up about his girlfriend and how he was struggling with her loss.

He then proceeded to show her pictures of the woman on his phone.

She said: “He was talking about his recently deceased partner who’d died from cancer and how he was struggling post-death. Sympathy was given because, well, that’s a horrible thing to go through.”

The woman continued: "All was going well until he looks up, goes white and bolts to the loos.”

Hannah was left baffled by this - so, doing what anybody would have done - she looked around the room.

She spotted a woman who looked "eerily" like his late former partner.

She continued: "Turns out the dead partner was not so dead.

"In fact, the girl had two children with him and thought he had been working overtime to support them.”

Hannah left the date there and then, throwing some cash down on the table to take care of her side of the bill.

“I heard her screaming as I left,” Hannah added when giving her account to Lancs Live.
