Woman's DIY fail leaves people in stitches after she tried to paint her room

A woman left people in stitches after sharing her hilarious DIY fail on TikTok.

Lauren Cameron, who lives in Los Angeles, went viral after she decided to redecorate.

But it went very wrong - and ended up looking rather phallic.

After deciding to paint an arch on a wall, she masked up the wall and painted the space left.

And it seemed like she had completed her aim - as she showed off the project, seemingly finished with only some tape to pull off.

But it wasn't until the tape was pulled up that she realised her huge mistake - and was left with a very phallic-looking decoration.

Sharing the mistake on TikTok, she joked: “Nailed it."

Whoops (TikTok)

In the video, which has been seen more than two million times, she explained: "Tried the colour-blocked 'painted arch trend',

"But accidentally painted over some of the tape. And now I have a giant penis on my wall."

In the video, as a man pulls off the tape, the person filming it can be heard laughing hysterically once they realise the mistake.

The hilarious video racked up more than 232,000 likes and more than a thousand comments.

One viewer commented: "OMG please don't fix it."

Another joked: "I would leave it, it adds character."

A third quipped: "The tip is a little small."

A fourth commented: "When you want to follow Pinterest trends but it goes very, very wrong."

Meanwhile, a teacher's efforts to ensure that his pupils completed their homework went viral.

Unfortunate students who didn't read all the instructions were caught red-handed after he added a cheeky instruction.

Tyler Jackowski, a teacher, from Boston, US, on TikTok, explained that he uses the method to keep his students "on their toes."

And it left people in stitches - with some viewers admitting they wouldn't have passed the test.

And a mum-of-one went viral after criticising bedtimes and describing cribs as "little baby jail cells."

Mum Alice Bender, of Arizona, sparked a huge debate online after sharing her parenting techniques in a viral TikTok.

The video by comingupfern describing how she is raising her five-month-old Fern has racked up more than 7.6 million views since being uploaded to TikTok.

In it, she explained why she doesn't use a crib for her son to sleep in.
