A woman allegedly had her hair set on fire by a group of teenagers on a popular Luas service from Dublin City, it is being reported.
The shocking alleged incident is said to have taken place on Saturday 11 on the Luas Red Line.
It is claimed that the woman's hair was set alight by the young gang on a tram travelling from the city centre to Tallaght, according to The Herald.
In a separate incident that took place several days later, Gardai arrested a young teen who was armed and causing damage to a southside tram.
A number of teenagers were found causing a disturbance at Drimnagh Luas stop and one of them was later arrested after being found with a metal pole which caused damage to seats on the tram.
