Some people who visit nail salons expect to have a work of art painted onto their fingernails, and sometimes the end result doesn't turn out the way they had planned.
But if all you want is a traditional French manicure, that should be fairly easy to do, right?
For one woman on TikTok, that wasn't the case - as she asked for the simple manicure style and was left with wonky white lines on nails that weren't nearly as long as she wanted.
Adella shared a video in which she showed off a picture of what she wanted her nails to look like before she cut to a picture of the end result she received, which was vastly different.

The woman, who posts under the username @itsadxllaa, even stated the finished look was so bad that the manager of the nail salon offered to re-do the nails for her.
She wrote on the video: "The manager had to re-do my nails."
And in the caption, she added: "No because she needs to be fired for that."
Adella also offered further information in the comments, as she revealed she was told by the technician that she'd be able to create the look with no problems and had even specified exactly how long she wanted her nails and what style she was after.
The woman was later told by the manager that the finished look was "uneven and bumpy".
She added: "I just don’t understand why they can’t just be like 'I don’t know how to do it my coworker can help you'. Save us both from getting our time wasted."
People in the comments were baffled by the nail technician's finished work, with some even asking if she worked "with her eyes closed".
One person said: "This is the reason that I refuse to go to nail salons. Yes they are licensed, but they fail to keep up with trends and nails are usually so bulky."
As another added: "Did she do them with her eyes closed? Because there's no way."
"How did they mess up such a simple and basic design?", a third asked.
