Woman's funny advert for mum's damaged car goes viral

A Nottinghamshire woman's funny Facebook advert for a damaged car has gone viral.

Samantha White, of Eastwood, posted the humourous advert as she tried to sell her mum's "well-loved" old car.

She said the post has had around 2,000 shares since she first posted it on November 3 and people are "loving it".

Samantha, a sound engineer for Rick Astley and Nicole Scherzinger, said she had "a lot of time on her hands" during the pandemic so put some effort into writing the advert.

She said: "Normally I wouldn’t expend this much effort into writing an advert but it’s for my mother and she’s just bought herself a new Mini. I felt I could warn the locals of Nottingham to be aware of her hitting the roads like that scene from The Italian Job!"

On the huge reaction to her post, she added: "It’s all well and good but I need this thing off my driveway and my Facebook feed to calm down a bit."
