Woman’s fiancé, mum, and gran die from Covid in same week after urging her to get jab

A woman has told how she has lost her fiancé, mum and grandma in a week from Covid and their dying wish was for her to get vaccinated.

Tiffany Devereaux, 35, from Jacksonville, Florida, has said how she feels “lost” without the trio and that it shows how important it is to be vaccinated.

She told WJXT: "I feel so lost ... they're all gone. I don’t know what to think or how to feel right now. I want my loved ones back."

Tiffany said how the deaths came so quickly that she missed her gran’s funeral to be with her mum in her final moments.

"I lost my grandmother on Saturday, lost my fiancé on Monday, and lost my momma yesterday," she said, speaking last Friday.

Tiffany said that the three had told her to get vaccinated before they died (Tiffany said that the three had told her to get vaccinated before they died)

"I had to skip going to my memaw’s funeral so I could get to the hospital to say goodbye to my momma. I feel lost. I feel so lost. I don’t know what to think or how to feel right now. I want my loved ones back.

"They’re the ones that always got me through the hard times in my life, and now, they’re all gone.”

Her fiancé Britt McCall, 35, and her mum, 65, were both said to be in good health while her gran, 85, was the only one vaccinated.

"My fiancé, and my mother, and I – none of us are vaccinated," she said.

"My mom and fiancé, their last wish was for me to get vaccinated. They told me how painful this virus was."

It was also reported that Mark McCall the father of her fiancé has also died from the virus.

Tiffany herself has had the virus but only showed mild symptoms and she feels that people can learn from her family’s devastation by ensuring they get vaccinated.

"I just want everyone to know how important this is," she said.
