Woman's fake tan looks like 'tiger bread' but she prefers it to natural skin

A woman has been told she looks like a loaf of 'tiger bread' - because she is obsessed with fake tan, even when it's blotchy and leaves patches on her skin.

Lily Scanell took to TikTok to show off her bronzed look and revealed that she likes it even when it's patchy, saying that she prefers it to her natural appearance.

She shared an image of her legs, and it looks like the fan was applied some time ago as it has flaked off and paler patches are beginning to show.

But soon people began commenting in droves and one said that Lily looked like 'tiger bread', but then others began defending her - saying they too loved having a tan.

Lily, who shares on TikTok as @lilyscan, captioned her video ‘rather be splotchy than pale!’, and added: "My toxic trait is thinking this looks better than my natural skin."

The clip soon went viral and had over four million views, alongside thousands of comments and likes.

One user said: "Melanoma is coming your way in the next couple of years if you're not more careful."

Then a second joked: “Tiger bread.”

And a third wrote: "I love being pale."
