Woman's drunken sandwich order is so bizarre Subway worker takes a photo

Imagine finishing your night with an innocent pit-stop to a Subway for some stodgy food to soak up your booze.

So far the scenario sounds quite normal, then you upload a quick tweet joking that the worker took a picture of your order because it was so wierd.

You wake the next morning to find the post had gone viral and now national papers were sharing your story.

That is exactly what happened to Anna, from London, who tweeted a picture of her black olives, cheese and cucumber sandwich.

The reveller had no idea, her selection of toppings would lead to her becoming famous across the country, with the post now being shared more than 18,000 times.

What do you think of it?

You know you've hit on something unique when even the guy behind the counter insists on taking a photo.

Dozens of people wrote under post, slamming her preference for sandwich fillers.

"Jesus Christ Anna who does order a subway like that??" wrote one woman.

Another critic added: "I can probably, think of literally 1,000 sandwiches that beat this right now? The first one being just butter. Just bread and butter beats cheese and cucumber."

"This the worst sandwich I've ever seen," someone else said, putting it more bluntly.

Anna later shed some light on the decision-making process, writing:

"[...] my mentions are crazy so to clarify: I was drunk. There’s no meat because I’m a veggie. No, I would not like to go to subway with you."

For what it's worth we think it actually looks pretty tasty.
