The body of a woman has been found in Falkirk.
Emergency services raced to Fendoch Road in Grangemouth just before 10am on Wednesday.
Officers made the grim discovery upon entering the property.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesman told the Record: "Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a woman was discovered at a house in Fendoch Road in Grangemouth earlier today, Wednesday, April 1.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
"The Procurator Fiscal will be informed."
