The body of a woman has been discovered in Perth.
Police Scotland’s Tayside division announced they had found the body on Saturday, February 1.
The family of missing woman Catherine McColl (52) has been informed.
Ms McColl was reported missing on Friday, January 31 after leaving Murray Royal Hospital and not returning.
She was last seen that morning on Muirhall Road in the city, and police officers launched an extensive search for her.
At the time, police said Catherine was a frequent visitor to Branklyn Gardens, Coronation Park and Moncreiffe Island.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland’s Tayside division said: “The body of a woman has been discovered in Perth.
“The family of missing woman Catherine McColl has been informed and our thoughts are with them.”
