A woman's body has been found inside an inner Melbourne apartment in what police consider suspicious circumstances.
The unidentified woman was found in the apartment on Surrey Road in South Yarra about 9pm on Saturday, Victoria Police said in a statement.
The woman's cause of death is yet to be determined, but police say it appears suspicious and are investigating.
