Police are investigating the homicide of a woman, whose body was found in bushland in far north Queensland.
The body was found at Leggett's Crossing about 5:30am Sunday. Detectives investigating the disappearance of 42-year-old Donna Louise Steele were called to the scene.
The last two confirmed sighting of Ms Steele were at a Cooktown caravan park on Tuesday and independent supermarket on Wednesday.
A crime scene has been declared.
