A man came to the rescue of a woman in a "blind panic" after her car broke down on a slip road coming off a busy motorway.
The woman appealed to people in the New Brighton Gossip and Community Facebook group for help finding the man who came to her aid so she could say thank you again.
She wrote that she was driving on the M53 and coming off at junction one when her car broke down without any warning.

But a man stopped and not only just started the car again for her but followed her home to ensure she got back safely.
The woman said she wishes she asked for the man's name but was in such a "blind panic" it slipped her mind.
Taking to Facebook she wrote: "I hope the person who helped me tonight on the way home from work knows how grateful I am for his help.
"My fairly new car just stopped with no warning on a very busy slip road coming off the motorway at junction one.
"He managed to get it started and then followed me to make sure I got home safely.
"Thank you so much. In my blind panic, I never even asked your name. Thank you."
People in the online group were quick to commend the actions of the man, saying it's good to see there are still good people around.
One woman wrote: "Some lovely genuine people still. How lovely of the gentleman."
Another added: "What a lovely person."
A third said: "The season for good will."
And another woman wrote: "Lovely, kind people out there."
