Woman's 79p B&M Ugg boot trick is popular with Hinch fans

A woman has shared a cheap and handy hack on how to get your Ugg boots looking brand new again.

The 23-year-old has revealed how she has managed to transform her boots, which were looking tired and worn and had water damage.

Phoebe Loveridge shared her hack in the Facebook group  Hinch Army Cleaning Tips, with before and after pictures.

The Facebook group is hugely popular and sees people share helpful cleaning hacks and tips.

Phoebe revealed to Hinch fans that she had used Stardrops white vinegar spray to clean her Uggs, reports Plymouth Live.

she said the spray helped her shoes to become "super soft again" and they now have "held their shape" and are "like new again".

She said: "From seeing the posts about cleaning UGG boots, I thought I would attempt to bring mine back to life. I am so happy with the result!"

B&M sells the Stardrops spray for just 79p and Wilkinson's have it on sale for £1.50.

Phoebe first stuffed each boot with newspaper to help it return to its original shape and then sprayed the whole boot with white vinegar spray.

She then used a nail brush to go over the suede "gently" in strokes and light circles, but explained other people have used suede brushes.

"Using a damp cloth, blot the suede all over to remove any excess dirt and vinegar," she wrote.

"Leave underneath a radiator to dry. Once dry brush the suede."

Phoebe's post in the group has attracted more than 1,600 reactions and 311 comments.

One woman said: "Thank you so so much for this, I've been asking if anyone knows of anyone cleaning them professionally and my UGG slippers. Tbh my slippers stink, anyone got any tips for this.

"I wore my boots twice and it rained both times how the heck can rain stain a boot god only knows! But the slippers I wear everyday and I have sweaty stinky feet any advice is greatly appreciated."

"I was literally just going to ask how to clean my Ugg boots.. Thank you for your advice," another said.
