Shoppers have been left seriously impressed after a woman shared her cheap and cheerful hack for making washing machine drawers sparkle online.
Posting on popular Facebook group 'Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips', Kell Taylor shared before and after pictures of her washing machine.
The first picture saw a grimy draw, while the second photo depicted the same draw - this time sparkling clean.
Revealing her method for cleaning the draw, Kell wrote: "This was a task and half. I’m new to all this hinching and it’s still not 100% clean but I got most of it off! And this I’ll be doing now twice a month."
She then went on to explain exactly how she'd done it.
Responding to another of the group's fans asking how she'd done it, the Hincher wrote: "I used Platinum Fairy on the draw with my Dishmatic brush and a old toothbrush to get in the small gaps, and I used bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar to remove all odurs and smells.
"I then went over it with mould and mildew spray! And I stubbed and soaked the draw in hot hot water and mould and mildew spray too! And then put it on a 90 degree wash!"
In an update to Manchester Evening News , the woman behind the post confirmed that she has since continued to use the technique to keep on top of the grime.
She told us: "I do it every few months to keep on top of it.
"I don’t get half as much build up of mould on my washer now or any bad smells since."
