Woman ruthlessly mocked for compass tattoo on her back with ‘idiotic’ mistake

A woman has been ridiculed for her tattoo artist's lack of direction when inking a compass onto her back.

A photo has appeared online of the dodgy inkwork - and it was pretty hard to miss the blunder.

The woman is seen standing in a group in an exposed backless white summer dress.

Her tattoo sits proudly on her back but it doesn't take long to figure out the mistake.

Eagle-eyed Twitter users spotted the howler after the snap was posted onto cult account @NoContextBrits.

Starting off with ‘N’ correctly, the artist had inked the letter ‘W’ instead of ‘E’ at the east point and vice versa.

Maybe he should have used the old Naught Elephant Squeezes Water trick!

There were predictably many cutting remarks and some are desperate to track the anonymous woman.

One person commented: “If you look right through her from the front, it works."

Another said: “When two idiots get hold of tattoo needle.”

Someone else giggled: “It was meant for people looking from the front.”

Meanwhile, a fourth person chuckled: “When she looks in the mirror it’s right…what’s the problem.”

It's not the only tattoo fail to get people talking recently - and it seems letters in the wrong order seems to be a running theme.

Trusting your artist to follow through with the design you've given them is a big deal, especially when there's so much that can go wrong.

Jennifer McGee, 18, shared a video in which she showed off her chest tattoo, which the Daily Star reports was supposed to include the outline of two butterflies alongside the phrase "with pain comes strength".

However, the tattoo artist made a detrimental spelling error and missed out the "g" in strength - writing it as "strenth".

Oops! Let's hope he chipped in for the removal.
