Woman rushed to hospital with serious facial injuries after Paisley disturbance

A woman was rushed to hospital in the early hours of the morning after a disturbance in Paisley.

Cops rushed to the scene at Lomond Gardens in Elderslie at around 2.05am.

The 27-year-old was found by officers with injuries to her face.

She was then taken to the local Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.

It is not yet known how the woman sustained the injuries to her face and enquiries are ongoing.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 2.05 am on Sunday, 7 February, 2021, police were called to a disturbance in Lomond Gardens, Elderslie, in which a 27-year-old woman sustained a serious facial injury.

“She was treated at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley and has since been discharged.

“Enquiries into the incident are continuing.”
