Woman rushed to hospital after plunging from window in Glasgow

A woman was rushed to hospital last night after plunging from a window in Glasgow.

The 25-year-old remains in a stable condition at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Emergency services raced to Whitehill Place in the east end of the city at around 9.10pm after receiving reports the woman had fallen.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The 25-year-old was rushed to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

"Medical staff describe her condition as stable and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."

Locals in the area reported a huge police presence at the time, as well as the fire service and ambulances.
